Questions creators and businesses ask

What a campaign pays, what the platform takes, and how the money moves.

Questions people ask before joining

Straight answers, including the ones about money.

Do I get paid, or do I just get free stuff?

Both happen on Influence X, and every campaign tells you which before you apply. A paid campaign pays cash for each deliverable. A gifted campaign trades a product or an experience for your content. A judged challenge awards a prize to the best entries.

Is it free, and what does the platform take?

Free to join, free to browse every campaign, and free to apply — there's no subscription for creators or businesses. A completed paid deal carries one 15% platform fee, taken from the rate the brand approved: on a $100 collab the creator receives $85 and the platform fee is $15. Creator Pro members pay 5% on the first $1,000 of paid deals they complete each month, then the standard rate applies again. Gifted campaigns have no cash deal, so there's no fee to take.

Do I need a minimum following?

No. There's no minimum follower count anywhere on Influence X. Each campaign shows what it asks for — plenty ask for nothing at all, and the card says “No min” when they don't.

How do I know creators will actually deliver?

The work is broken into deliverables with due dates before anything starts, and payment is released one deliverable at a time as the brand approves it — the money sits with Stripe until then. If a review stalls, it escalates to a human on our side after seven days instead of quietly disappearing.

What happens if my content is rejected?

A brand can approve it or ask for a specific change, and you get the reason so you can resubmit. If you and the brand can't agree, the deal goes to platform review rather than being dropped — and the deliverables that were already approved are paid either way.

What do you do with my data?

Your email is used to run your account and to tell you when a campaign you applied to moves. Social handles are stored so they can appear on your storefront, and you can change or remove them at any time. We never ask for your social passwords, and nothing is posted to your accounts on your behalf.

How does values-first matching work?

You choose labels like Faith-based Content, Family-friendly or Purpose-driven, and a business can ask for the same on a campaign. Overlapping labels raise a match score; they never filter anyone out. Skip the labels and you're matched on category, city and budget instead.

Who is Influence X not for?

If you need one creator with millions of followers, or a single viral moment, this isn't the right fit. Influence X is built for many small posts from real local creators — the shop's regulars, not a celebrity.
